To benefit the 380 acre public lake, Manchaug Pond and its watershed, 
 through the work of the Manchaug Pond Foundation.





                                                     The RACE                                                       

• Run, walk or cheer 'em on! for this 5K Road Race and 3K Walk event to benefit the  Manchaug Pond Foundation.
• Runners, walkers, and strollers welcome! Rain or Shine.  Please, no headphones. 
• Parking at the Start/Finish line beginning at 8:00 AM at 19 Holt Road, Sutton, Massachusetts.
• Registration begins at 8:30 AM at the start. 
• Race starts at 9:30 AM at the NEW Starting line at 19 Holt Road,  Sutton.
• Timing and scoring.

                                                         The COURSE                                                     

• 5K (3.1 mile) course for runners and 3K (1.86 mile) course for walkers. Well-monitored by numerous course volunteers along the way and at every turn.
• One WATER STATION on the course roadside near YMCA Camp Blanchard and another at the Finish Line.
• RESTROOMS available at the start/finish and on the course.

THE DAM RACE is a 5K (3.1 mile) course for runners that takes participants for a scenic trek along Manchaug Pond. Walkers will enjoy a 3K (1.9 mile) route. The start and finish line at 19 Holt Road in Sutton offers ample parking for contestants and spectators. There will be a turn-around location mid-race, where volunteers will control traffic and ensure safety. Prizes and refreshments post-race!

                                   DIRECTIONS  ~  PARKING                                 

TO RACE PARKING & New STARTING Line:

 19 Holt Road, Sutton, Massachusetts

From Route 395 North or South:  Take Oxford exit 4A, Sutton Ave,  Sutton.  Stay on Sutton Ave., which becomes Central Turnpike in Sutton, for approximately 3.8 miles.  Turn right onto Manchaug Road. (There are signs for the various campgrounds at this turn).  Follow Manchaug Road for approximately 2.3 miles staying to the right continuing onto Torrey Road.  Stay on Torrey for .4 miles, after going over the dam, turn right onto Holt Road.  Follow for 0.2 miles to 19 Holt Rd on the left.

Parking attendants will be available to assist you.

• Late registers and others may purchase The Dam Race 2013 t-shirts at the finish.
