380 acres of Great Pond located in the towns of Douglas and Sutton, Massachusetts, USA.
Join the Manchaug Pond Foundation (MPF) in promoting the welfare and correct use of the lake and its watershed!
For those of you who have not taken part in this raffle, by purchasing a ticket yourselves or getting together with a neighbor or friend, should be ashamed of yourselves. With all this beautiful lake has to offer, there is no excuse!
Thank you David, and everyone who has purchased a raffle ticket, for your continued commitment to the lake and the work of the MPA!
I do have one excuse... with only 100 tickets sold, we DON'T HAVE ENOUGH TICKETS FOR EVERYONE around the lake, never mind their family and friends, campers and users from the boat ramp, fishing and canoe clubs, area businesses, and lake lovers in the watershed and around town!
Also the Manchaug Pond Association and the Foundation are/will provide plenty of ways to support our mutual efforts to benefit the lake. If you can't buy a ticket you can support our work in other ways: membership, tax-deductible donations to the Foundation, t-shirt sales, participate in other events such as the upcoming Boat Decorating Contest, Lighting of the Shoreline, and the more surprises to come....
Just stay tuned! Opportunities abound... to help the lake...it is an election year if you would like to personally volunteer on the Board or contact me to share your talent and interest on a team or committee. Also in the works is our new professionally done newsletter, additional sites planned from our water quality grant surplus funds, a few new grants are being written targeting water quality, channel and safety markers, and educational kiosks not to mention our invasive weed study... All needing your time, a little seed money and support. Oh, we could go on and on!
Stay with us for the love of Manchaug Pond! and help as you can.
