Could you tell us, Where the meeting is being held? Thank You
ReplyDeleteIs the "application withdrawn" due to pending lawsuits?
ReplyDeleteAs I understand it, the application has been withdrawn as the Town of Sutton and DEP are addressing the negative impacts occurring in Douglas to the wetlands, the shoreline and lake resulting from Manchaug Reservoir Corp.'s activity at the dam which is located in Sutton.
ReplyDeleteThe case includes the dam owner's filing before Sutton, Sutton Conservation Commission's Order of Conditions, MRC's appeal to DEP, MRC's lawsuits against SCC and DEP in Worcester Superior Court and any subsequent filings.
Whether or not there will be an opportunity to speak tonight is unknown. But since our pond is on the agenda, the Manchaug Pond Association will be there before the Town of Douglas and online viewers to visibly show our concern for the lake and its watershed.
