Manchaug Pond, with this cold spell, has a thin coat of ice on it - enough for the ice fisherman to be out on the lake in the area in front of the dam. Clearly not thick enough for me :)
Spent a great day Wednesday Ice Fishing and Skating at the South End. Had about 3 inches of ice. Lots of flags but only 2 fish. A 2# Largemouth and a nice Yellow Perch. Both released alive to be caught again. Looking forward to a weekend of more of the same.
